Living the Role

For five years, all Ronan Mercer had earned in Hollywood was a nickname his fellow actors pinned on him: Forever Extra. It made him feel small. Ashamed. Embarrassed to even say his own dream out loud. Was this all his life would ever be? An extra on the screen, and a background in his own life too, always standing behind someone brighter?
